Today I bought a new used car. Pretty excited that I found the car I was looking for and the lady that helped me find my car was the best part. I was searching online and found the site Used Cars Fort Worth.
I found some used cars that were close to what I was looking for, but not exactly what I wanted. The web page had a number listed, so I decided to call in hopes to speak with someone. Without being redirected or put on hold, I was connected with a nice lady. I described the car I was looking for and setup a time to come look at their inventory.

The Rx(prescribed) weight for the Thrusters was 135lbs and doing that many Thruster was painful. Here is a video of Thrusters.
They are pretty brutal.
Everyone loves Burpees….. Not really. They say if you can only do one workout, you should do burpess. They are a full body workout and boy do they get you winded. The movement is pretty much you throwing yourself to the ground, getting back up, and then jumping. Doing this over and over. Once you are tired, you really don’t want to drop back down on the ground.
Box jumps aren’t extremely bad, but I have hurt hit my shins on the box before. I recommend not doing that. So if you ever do box jumps, make sure you jump all the way to the top of the box.
Overall, it is nice to be done. It’s all pain while doing the workouts, but it fells so good when you are done. Can’t wait to get after another CrossFit workout tomorrow.
It all started when one of my buddies picked up CrossFit about a year ago. All he kept talking about is how great CrossFit was and how it just killed him (in a good way) each and every day.
I wasn’t sold just yet, I wasn’t doing to much daily exercise and was being pretty lazy. At the same time my wife had a close friend that was doing CrossFit and kept asking her to join. My wife always wants me to do things with her (good i guess…. hehe) and always told her friend she didn’t want to go.
One day I was watching ESPN2 and saw the CrossFit games. That is when it hit me. I thought wow these aren’t just body builders running around doing crazy regular physical exercises. These are super fit athletes that are some of the fittest people in the world. They aren’t just lifting weights, they are running around and doing all sorts of activities.
That is what really got me interested in CrossFit. I like the diversity of the WOD (workout of the day) each day and always doing something different. I get bored very fast going to the gym and just lifting weights and running.
CrossFit takes exercising to the next level and it is fun. So to get to the point, I finally told my friend I would join the local Fort Worth CrossFit gym and have been doing it 4-6 time a week since. If you haven’t done a CrossFit workout, you gotta try one!
